Background

Within the Life Sciences preprint adoption and use is increasing. However, the data and evidence on adoption and use remains splintered and is frequently out of date. This makes it difficult for advocates and for those discussing preprints such as journalists or in a teaching setting.

The primary aim of this project is to provide an evidence and data-based resource for those interested in preprints and those advocating for their adoption. The project will investigate preprint adoption, preprint perceptions by researchers and preprint use.
