The Problem

Academia suffers from a highly damaging culture that reduces efficiency, encourages poor research practices and prioritises bad behaviour. To change this, the primary driver of pressure, scientific publishing, must be significantly improved. At the same time, science is suffering increasing distrust, in part, as a result of the culture and pressures in academia.
